Bingham Farms, MI (November 5, 2009) - In an effort to support its impressive growth, Anesthesia Staffing Consultants, Inc. is proud to announce that Jerry O'Brien, D.O., has been appointed Medical Director for Lansing ASC Partners, LLC and Michigan Surgical Center. In his new role, Dr. O'Brien will assist in standardizing clinical practices and quality assurance efforts, as well as initiate new anesthesia techniques into the centers.

Dr. O'Brien is on the medical staff and chairman for the Department of Anesthesiology at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology, and is a current member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Michigan Osteopathic Association, and the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists.
